Startup training workshop series at the University of Szeged
On October 9, 2019, a series of programs will be launched with the cooperation of the Research, Development, and Innovation Directorate of SZTE. At these high-quality events, participants can delve into relevant topics, take part in trainings, and compete with their own startup ideas, which they can hone to perfection with the help of professional mentors. All of these provide an opportunity for SZTE students and researchers to develop, experience, and implement their ideas.
The Startup Training series of events will start on October 9th. In terms of its theme, it consists of three parts, the most prominent of which is the third idea competition on November 20th. This is preceded by the Design Thinking and Growth Hacking workshops, which perform a dual-task. On the one hand, informing and educating those interested in the current topic, and on the other hand, preparing candidates for the competition in advance.
The Startup Training series of events starts on October 9 from 3 pm with the Design Thinking workshop, which is hosted by Room 5 of the Rector’s Office of the University of Szeged. Design thinking, which is the theme of the event, is an interactive process designed to try to understand the user, name the challenges, redefine any problems, all in order to define a solution or an alternative strategy.
The second in the series of events is the Growth Hacking workshop, which awaits those interested for two days, on November 8-9, from 10 am at the Albert Agora in Szent-Györgyi. The workshop aims to identify the most efficient and effective ways to put a business on a growth path.
To crown the workshop series, participants can compete in an idea competition, where they can present their business ideas in front of a professional jury. Based on the jury’s proposal, the teams with the most elaborate ideas will advance to the 2020 finals. SZTE’s professional mentors personally help to develop ideas perfectly, which they can present in an international environment by competing with Serbian teams.
